What is Triphala Guggul?
Triphala Guggul is a poly-herbal Ayurvedic formulation widely used in Ayurveda for multiple benefits. It is a synergistic blend of seven ayurvedic herbs including Triphala fruits, Trikatu spices and Guggul gum.
Guggul is made from the sap (gum resin) of the Commiphora mukul tree, which is native to India. Guggul is also known as 'Indian myrrh’. In traditional Ayurveda, Guggul gum is processed and purified in the herbal decoction of Triphala fruits. This is a completely natural process of cleansing and purifying the Guggul resin. The pure Guggul is blended with various herbs for health benefits and accordingly several Guggul based poly-herbal formulations are used in Ayurveda.
