What is Tulsi?
Tulsi or Tulasi or Holy Basil is a sacred plant in Ayurveda. The botanical name is - Ocimum sanctum. It has a rich history dating back to ancient eastern uses 3,000 years ago. Tulsi is native to tropical Asia, although it now grows in many tropical climates across the globe. Today, tulsi is commonly consumed in supplement form or as tulsi tea.
