What are Nirgundi Capsules?
Nirgundi, commonly known as 'Five-leaved chaste tree’ and botanical name is ‘Vitex negundo.’ It is a large aromatic shrub with quadrangular, densely whitish, tomentose branchlets. It is native to tropical Eastern and Southern and Asia and widely cultivated and naturalized elsewhere.
