Kalmegh is an annual, branched herb that grows up to half to a meter high. The botanical name of Kalmegh is Andrographis Paniculata. Kalmegh is an extremely bitter-tasting herb and also known as ‘King of Bitters’. The plant is native to India and Srilanka and it is also found in Southeast Asia, China, America, and West Indies.
