What are Brahmi Capsules?
Brahmi is an annual creeping plant found throughout India including the North Eastern region. The botanical name of this plant is ‘Bacopa monniera’. The plant’s extensive use over the last 7,000+ years has seen it be referred to as Waterhyssop, Brahmi, Thyme-leafed gratiola, Water hyssop, Herb of grace, and Indian pennywort. It is bitter in taste and highly revered in Ayurveda. In the last 50 years, Bacopa monnieri has been the focus of a great deal of scientific research.
